4. Steel mesh core

Material: metal mesh (stainless steel or carbon steel) embedded in rubber.

Features:

High temperature resistance, impact resistance, suitable for conveying sharp or high temperature materials.

Large weight, need to be matched with high-strength drive system.

Application: Metallurgy, cement and other industries, high temperature material conveying at large inclination angle.

5. Composite belt core (mixed structure)

Material: Combined with steel wire rope and fabric layer (e.g. steel wire rope + EP layer).

Features:

Balance longitudinal strength and transverse flexibility, adapt to complex working conditions.

Higher cost and greater design flexibility.

Application: Special needs of large inclination conveying (e.g. both high strength and corrosion resistance).

Selection points

Inclination Requirements: Over 30° usually requires wire rope cores or special edge/spacer designs.

Material characteristics: sharp materials need steel mesh core, corrosive environment need chemical-resistant belt core.

Strength requirements: wire rope core for heavy loads, fabric core for light to medium loads.
