U Trough Screw Conveyor can be widely used in chemical industry, building materials, machinery, coal, metallurgy, light industry, grain, medicine, transportation, hydropower and other departments, used to transport a variety of powder and small bulk materials. Such as: pulverized coal, cement, sand, lump coal, cereals and so on. Because of the large power consumption, it is often used for low or medium productivity, and the transportation distance is not long, so it is not suitable to transport the viscous caking or bulk material which is easy to deteriorate.
U Trough Screw Conveyor characteristics are: the structure is relatively simple, the operation is safe and convenient, the maintenance is not too complex, the shape and size of the cross section is not large, it is convenient to unload and plant in the middle in several positions, and the lid of the closed housing can achieve better sealing. However, the unit power consumption is high, the material in operation is easy to be crushed, sensitive to overplanting, uniform feeding is required, spiral, housing and crane bearing wear is more serious.

It uses a rotating screw to transport the transported material along the fixed housing, which is like the nut stuck when the screw rotates and can only move transversely along the screw, and the force that causes the material not to rotate with the screw is the gravity of the material and the friction force on the housing.
